Renowned Amapiano producer and DJ, Vigro Deep, has issued a warning about fraudulent bookings being made under his name. The star, who is currently enjoying a busy schedule with international and local performances, took to social media to expose scammers pretending to be his official booking agents.

Vigro Deep, real name Kamogelo Phetla, recently alerted his fans and industry stakeholders about unauthorized individuals falsely claiming to represent him for bookings. He shared a scam alert on his Instagram story, urging people to be cautious and avoid falling victim to the fraudsters.

In his statement, he wrote:

“Please be advised that the following contact details: [email protected] +27813401356 are fraudulently listed as my booking agent. This is false and unauthorized.”

The Amapiano star emphasized that his team has already attempted to remove all false associations with his brand but has received no response from the perpetrators. He further advised fans, promoters, and event organizers to avoid contacting the fraudulent details for any bookings or inquiries.

To prevent further confusion and potential scams, Vigro Deep also shared his official booking contact details, ensuring that all legitimate business inquiries go through the correct channels.

“For all official inquiries, please use the correct contact: [email protected]. Thank you for your attention.”

The iParty Yami star urged fans and event promoters to double-check the legitimacy of any booking contact before making payments or confirming events.

Following the announcement, fans and fellow industry players expressed their support for Vigro Deep, with many commending him for taking a stand against fraud. Some fans also warned others about the dangers of scam bookings, which have become increasingly common in the entertainment industry

Vigro Deep’s warning is not the first of its kind, as many South African artists have previously dealt with similar fraudulent activities. Scammers often use fake contacts and email addresses to deceive event organizers into paying deposits for non-existent performances.

As Amapiano continues to dominate the global music scene, it is crucial for artists and fans alike to remain vigilant and ensure that bookings and business deals are conducted through verified sources.
