Lady Du, celebrated Amapiano star and entrepreneur, recently took to social media to share an inspiring story of one of her employees, Precious, who has grown immensely since joining her beauty salon, Wawa Le Beauty.
Taking to her social media, Lady Du recounted how Precious initially joined her salon team with minimal experience. “I have a young lady at my salon, her name is Precious. She took it upon herself to come to an interview when we were hiring staff to open the salon. She had only been doing nails for a month and came with no real experience,” Lady Du explained.
During the interview, Lady Du noticed Precious’s lack of confidence compared to other candidates but was deeply moved by her passion and determination. “I looked at her nails and, more importantly, listened to her story. I saw a young, passionate girl that I could train myself to become a master at nails,” Lady Du shared.
Despite skepticism from others, Lady Du followed her instincts and announced that Precious was the first to be hired. “Based on her character and behavior during the interview, I knew she was the right choice,” Lady Du said.
Today, Precious’s journey stands as a testament to hard work and perseverance. “Forward to today, Precious is the highest earner at the salon, and her nails are gorgeous,” Lady Du proudly stated.
Lady Du also emphasized the importance of building from the ground up and creating a culture of continuous learning at Wawa Le Beauty. “When I started my salon, I taught my staff that starting small and growing ensures we never become complacent. We learn and become better each day,” she said.
Through Precious’s success story, Lady Du has inspired countless followers, reminding them of the value of giving others a chance and investing in people’s potential. Her entrepreneurial journey and focus on uplifting those around her continue to resonate deeply with her fans and community.
With stories like this, Lady Du not only showcases her commitment to excellence but also reinforces her belief in empowering others to reach their full potential.
