Mr JazziQ Remembers His Late Granny. Tumelo Manyoni known professionally as Mr JazziQ, is a South African Amapiano DJ and producer. He is best known for being a member of the amapiano DJ duo, JaZziDisciples. Mr JazziQ was born and raised in Alexandra by his grandmother whilst his parents stayed in the north of Johannesburg.

Tumelo aka Mr JazziQ is currently mourning the loss of his grand mother. Mr JazziQ took to social media to post a snap of himself posing – according to him looked like his late granny. “When I didn’t come home the night before. I’d find my granny sitting in the garden waiting for my like? Yho. That time the dishes from last night and that morning are waiting for me. At the same time the boys are waiting for me outside! We also told the girlies to get ready we rocking. I miss you mma. RIP we love you,” Mr JazziQ wrote.

In case you missed it, JazziDisciples goup split last year wit the desicion of going solo. Speaking on the spit, Mr JazziQ said: “We decided to move from JazziDisciples mainly because we did not want to be glued together as we both believe that we have the potential to grow as individuals, being a duo has taught us both new and entertaining ways to do music, I am grateful for that.”

“Our journey has been bumpy and tricky because we had to fight for recognition while playing a genre that was still new to the ears of many but it is undoubtedly one of the best genres in the country, mainly because it’s brewed here,” he said.
