De Mthuda Celebrates Topping Chart On Spotify. Top notch music art and record producer De Mthuda who have been hitting up the industry since last year December has returned with a new amapiano banger titled ‘John Wick’ featuring Ntokzin and Sir Trill De Mthuda. The song has become a favourite in Mzansi to a point where a party would be incpmplete without ‘John Wick’ being played. The track also inclusive on the ‘Aces Of Spades’ project as it is the most popular track.
The song has reached new heights as it topped number one on Spotify South Africa. Taking to social media, De Mtuda expressed his gratitude to his fans for the support and the artists he featured on the track as he celebrates the milestone. “Humbled + Grateful. Thank you, now we at number 1 on @SpotifySA @SIR_TRILLSA @MuziqalChef @borninsowetoSA,” he tweeted.
This is not the first time ‘John Wick’ is topping digital streams, as it has been topping charts on Apple Music under amapiano category for a while now. As one of the most consistent artists of the year, De Mthuda dropped this track in the name of one of our favourite actors that never seem to give up despite anything. ‘John Wick’ has been on wishlists of many yanos headlines for many months now since the track was first played during his production mix.
Since this year, De Mthuda have been on a new vibes and have attained such high level that he’s currently considered as one of the best hit makers in the country as long as yanos music is involved. Earlier this year he partnered with Samthing Soweto on their latest joint mini album project titled “Danko EP” which housed about 7 tracks in all as he strives to become the number in the genre, and before that he already released a full killer project alongside Ntokzin which he captioned as “Ace Of Spade“.
