Villosoul Recalls Winning Metro FM Award. Villosoul started making music at the tender age of 16 and he claims that his interpretation of amapiano differs to others in the sense that it is an infusion of Soulful, Tech, minimal and afro house.

He cites one moment as being of particular significance in his career thus far.“I did a song called Spaced Dance which created cosigns from some of the South African major artists and the key moment was to win Metro FM awards for Best Amapiano Song and Best Viral dance,” he recollects.
His sound draws on gospel, love, motivational speeches, and his personal spiritual journey as the building blocks for his music.“The message that I want to convey through music is that every person has to reach their full potential and become the best version of themselves despite every challenge it should be taken as an obstacle that prepares for the next big thing that awaits and that through it all, God has a plan for of us.
“We should put all our trust in him because no one was born with a will to become nobody. We just have to push hard to break all the chains or doors that are closed before us, and we do this by praying to God and put in the work because talent alone is not enough – it requires hard work, determination, perseverance and consistency.”
