Caltonic SA Shares The Fundamental Elements For An Artist To Be Successful.Elias Shitlhangu, better known as Caltonic SA, was born in Seshego, Limpopo. At a tender age, he developed a love of music. In 2017 he began taking his musical career seriously as a producer and DJ.

In an interview with GQ, Caltonic SA shared the most fundamental elements for an artist/entertainer to be successful. “I would say education, talent, and vision. Education is important because for you to make a living out of your craft you should be able to monetize it, and the only way to monetize it means you should be able to turn it into business.”

“Business is all about communication and working with numbers, so I believe that education is the key to that achievement.”

“Talent is important because it doesn’t fade but evolves, so when you are really talented at what you do it means you can do it for the rest of your life.”

“Lastly vision, because as a visionary you know exactly where you want to take your music carrier and you can easy plan on how to get there.”

For the past two years, Caltonic SA has been refining and evolving his unique Amapiano style, honing his skill with hard-hitting drums that define his signature sound. His talent has been evident in the enduring popularity of his masterpiece single “Bambelela,” released three years ago, which remains a global Amapiano favourite, adored by both local and international DJs as an all-time club banger.
