Robot Boii Gets Nominated For An International Award.Music media company Trace has revealed the nominees for the first Trace Awards set to take place at BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda, on 21 October 2023
Robot Boii is nominated in the inaugural Trace Awards.The star’s dance moves brought him recognition beyond SA borders. The star is nominated in the Best Dancer category, and he is up against, Tayc (France), Uganda Ghetto Kids (Uganda), Yemi Alade (Nigeria) and Zuchu (Tanzania).The award event will take place in Kigali, Rwanda in October 2023.Meanwhile, Robot Boii gave a stunning performance on the 13th of August at Miss South Africa 2023
Speaking about the awards, Trace chairman and co-founder Olivier Laouchez said: “The Trace Awards’ nominations salute achievement and excellence from more than 150 performers, producers, DJs, writers, composers, directors, established artists and rising stars, and their management and labels. We congratulate all the nominees, most of whom will attend and perform in Kigali on 21 October. It will be an unmissable experience for lovers of African and Afro-inspired music.”
The awards will celebrate genres such as Afrobeats, dancehall, hip hop, mbalax, amapiano, zouk, kizomba, genge, coupé décalé, bongo flava, soukous, gospel, rap, rai, kompa, R&B and rumba.
