Watch! Young Stunna Perfoms ‘uNonkosi’ At Coke Studio. Young Stunna is a 25-year-old Amapiano artist from Daveyton, South Africa who is part of the new-age Amapiano scene. In 2022, he also won a SAMA for TikTok Viral Song of the Year and for Best Selling Artist. His recent nomination for a BET Award as Best New International Act reflects his growing international fanbase as he continues to tour worldwide.

Young Stunna dropped his much anticipated album ‘uNonkosi’ last week, and he also performed the first single ‘uNonkosi’ off his album at the Coke Studio. Coke Studio Africa revealed that Young Stunna is the latest local artist to drop a single and visuals in collaboration with the platform following Nasty C.

He reflected on Instagram on a lot of things, including how, two years ago, he was introduced to a new world and now he is walking into this chapter of his life. “I felt how pops @kabelomotha_ believed in me and had his own vision, we were so channelled & connected. The only thing on my mind was to keep on doing good, focus on what I came here for, with all the love and energy inside me, because I love music with all my heart and I met someone who puts his heart into it. Kabza De Small is the biggest blessing in my life, I don’t want to lie, taught me a lot and that’s why I’m still taking care of this gift the right way.”

Check out his performance:

Having only risen to fame for his Amapiano music in 2021, his debut album “Notumato” received critical acclaim and won Best Amapiano Album at the 2022 South Africa Music Awards (SAMA). Within this project, his single “Adiwele” reached number 1 across South African radio and he has featured on many of South Africa’s biggest hit songs, including “Bopha” by Mellow and Sleazy and more recently “SETE” by K.O.
