DJ Maphorisa And Cassper React To Usher Jamming Their Hit ‘Sponono’. Amapiano is really taking over all around the world. For the past few months we have witnessed international stars jamming to South African sound ‘amapiano’ putting local artists and their talent on the map.
American singer and dancer Usher was seen dancing to Sponono by Kabza De Small featuring Wizkid, Burna Boy, Cassper Nyovest, DJ Maphorisa. The video is making rounds on social media as fans are pleased with the recognition African artists are receiving, while both Cassper and Maphorisa also reacted to the video. Cassper took to Twitter to share the video that Usher posted o his Instagram account while dancing to their Sponono smash hit. “@Usher vibing to sponono on his Instagram. Mapiano to the world!!!,” tweeted Cassper.
Maphorisa also shared the video as he was beaming with excitement to witness a song which he contributed to making such great heights. Taking to social media, DJ Maphorisa shared the video of the American pop star and captioned it: “I saw amapiano going big in dreams. I felt it, Sauta its out time ereng voice ya madumane ko ig ya Usher mara he.”
‘Sponono’ also features Nigerian stars Wizkid and Burna Boy, who also joined in the trend of featuring South African artists on the new sound that is viby and trendy. Nigerian Afrobeats star is also one of the few that featured on an amapiano track.
This is not the first time Mzansi has witnessed international stars jamming to local music.
