Cassper Reacts To Kabza’s Lab London Mix. Pioneering amapiano talent Kabza De Small has gone from strength to strength over the years with his unique, soul-stirring sonics. Hailing from Alexandra, South Africa, Kabza’s bright and melodic productions have taken him across the globe and garnered him the nickname ‘Amapiano King’, also commonly known under his Scorpion Kings alias alongside fellow trailblazer DJ Maphorisa.
Kabza played a set at the Lab London Mixmag where his set impressed a lot of people including Cassper Nyovest. The rapper took to social media to show Kabza some love while applauding his set. The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Coors’ weekly live event, powered by Pioneer PRO AUDIO, where they showcase the finest DJs direct from the world famous office party. On Friday, July 1, Kabza De Small played his set. “Kabza’s Lab London mix on YouTube is everything and a dollar. Perfect,” he wrote.
Starting out his career in deep, soulful house music, Kabza later helped to bring forward the recently lauded genre when he broke through in 2018 after a decade in the game. Together with DJ Maphorisa, Kabza has released three studio albums, most recently 2020’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Lockdown’. Following on from his constant stream of releases, Kabza came out with an 18-track collaborative record ‘KOA II Part 1’ a few weeks ago featuring a number of heavy hitters on the amapiano scene.
