“I Started DJing When I Was 10 Years Old” – Lady Du On Her Career. Lady Du aka Duduzile Ngwenya (born in 1991) is a well-known rapper, musician, DJ artist, media face, and social media star from Vosloo, Gauteng, South Africa. She is best known in the country as a famous DJ artist. She is in the music industry since the age of 9. She learnt how to first DJ from her father and uncle, who are both in the music industry.

Lady Du has taken to her social media to reveal that she started DJing at the age of ten. She claimed that then, she was the youngest DJ and there were no social media and she was the youngest then. Lady Du said she won two competitions and she left music to go overseas to study. She said she never gave up as she built all she had for 20 years and she is getting the rewards already.

“I won 2 competitions. I left music to go study overseas came back and continued with it till today. I never gave up, I was consistent!!!! What I have now was not made in a month. it’s exactly 20 years of hard work!!! I am getting my rewards. My spirit of never giving up is what Got me where I am today! For some people it takes 1 month for some 20 years but I always say skill, education and wisdom will make you stay in the game longer, talent alone won’t carry you.  be inspired,” she wrote.

Though Lady Du said she does not care about the titles she gets along the way while working towards becoming an international amapiano star, it is undeniable she’s the biggest female artist dominating the genre. “I wouldn’t dub myself as the queen of amapiano. I’ve never done this for a title, but I appreciate it when people call me all of that because it’s how they view me. I was the first female to have the highest streams on amapiano and be on 100 songs at a time. When you look at the streams on the songs, most of them are platinum, I’m not on a piano song that is not platinum. I’m the highest-streamed female in amapiano,” she said.
