Amapiano star Masterpiece Yvk took to his timeline revealing he had recently became a father. The artist shared an image of himself holding the bundle of joy, introducing him to his fans.“Only a month old and you changed so much in my life already. From a young age, Masterpiece was fascinated by the entertainment industry and was very fond of anything related to music, fashion, art and dance. He started off as a member of SteezFresh (a fashion group from Tembisa) which hosted events in Tembisa.One day, the group decided to make Masterpiece an MC for their ‘Winter Warm Up Steeze’ event and that was when his love for being behind the mic started.
Masterpiece said the love for being a vocalist grew and his work ethic started attracting many big names in the industry.“Soon after that, I met up with Ezra Mlotshwa who introduced me to Shuffle Musiq from Team Mosha and we created a song called Tanqueray. This song caught flames and it became my hit single, which currently sits on 165 000 views on YouTube,” said Masterpiece.
