Slik Talk Explains Why He Feels Focalistic’s Time Has Passed. As fans were waiting in anticipation for the latest episode of the Podcast and Chill, controversial YouTuber Slik Talk started trending for the comments he made. After posting a snippet video of the interview with Slik Talk on the Podcast and Chill with MacG, Twitter went crazy. Slik Talk who also owns his YouTube channel is popular for his commentary on South African music, artists and celebrities.

Tweeps were looking forward to Slik’s comments on celebrities, which is the entertainment industry at large. Speaking on amapiano artists, Slik expressed that he feels that Focalistic’s time has passed. “Focalistic is done. He enjoyed the ride too much in the USA, now there’s nothing for him to offer here. I think he did export amapiano to the globe, but he should’ve stayed there because him coming here is no good to us. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, but I just feel that his tie has passed. That’s the thing with amapiano, it’s not sustainable. You’re hot for like 3 months and then you’re not hot anymore unless you’re a producer. Even with Kamo Mphela, in 2019 she was on fire, but now she looks like if she got into an eating competition with Sol and myself, she would win,” he expressed his feelings.

#PodcastAndChill Slik Talk interview taught me
1. They tell us piano is killing Hip Hop but the same Yano does not have an artist except producers who has longevity.
2. Nasty C & A-Reece been hot since 2016 to date but a piano artist that was hot in 2019 is not hot now pic.twitter.com/VPKHgfXaeR

There is a list of celebrities that he has gone for, this includes media personality Bonang Matheba, actresses Enhle Mbali and Bontle Modiselle and rappers, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Priddy Ugly, Nasty C, Reason and Shane Eagle. And recently, he talked about the death of the two Amapiano artists, Killer Kau and Mpura who supposedly died in a car accident. He mentioned how the Amapiano stars got what they deserved because they knew very well that they were breaking the law.

Now, there have been times where he was told that he might be messing with the wrong people and what he is doing might get him in trouble. Singer Zanda Zakuza was one of the people who mentioned that someone should sue Slik Talk. He also asked macG how his birthday was and if whether he has invited Uncle Waffles to perform. He also mentioned that MacG didn’t invite Uncle Waffles implying that she isn’t a real DJ. “From the first time I saw her, I said she was Gimmick. No talent, nothing. I saw her Instagram live and she started DJing six months ago and I wasn’t impressed. She was making mistakes. That’s why I respect Black Coffee, Prince Kaybee and Speedsta,” he said.
