Sir Trill Explains Why He’s Always Trying New Sounds

Sir Trill Explains Why He’s Always Trying New Sounds. Amapiano vocalist Sir Trill has been hitting the country with his music like a storm, and have grown to become the best male vocalist in the yanos genre this year, a record he took from Samthing Soweto who held it since 2019. The star has also been considered as artist with the highest features and this comes as a result of his powerful vocals and the way he perfects them into the beats and drums.

Sir Trill has taken to social media to share a new song he has been working on, and to most of his fans they were surprised that it was not an Amapiano song nor the usual Trill sound. He explained that his reason to try new sounds is because he does not want to have 15 songs sounding the same with only the lyrics which are different. “Always try new sounds . Biggest fear is releasing the same song 15 times for my people . @doh let’s go,” he wrote. Check it out:

A recent video by Sir Trill has proven him right, that he is always trying new sounds, and that at some point rapping used to be his thing. Reacting to the video of Trill dropping bars, Cassper simply asked “did I lie?”. This obviously proves him right that a lot of Piano artists are Hip Hop acts who felt the need to explore. Cassper Nyovest is one rapper who has refused to succumb to the criticism and has supported Amapiano, and even released Piano projects. He previously argued that a lot Piano artists were once Hip Hop artists. Cassper posted a series of Twitter posts speaking about the demand for amapiano having had many hip hop artists transition to the genre.

“These are hip hop kids who chose to explore their talents to the fullest. Why is it a crime? Hip hop needs to stop excluding itself from the growth of SA music. It’s not a competition, it’s all the same thing. Embrace the new, learn and feed off one another, or sink. A Lotta of the Kids who are killing it in the Piano scene are actually rappers & trappers who chose not to box themselves. You can see it in the fashion sense, you can see it with their names, their writing. Those are SA Hip Hop kids who were smart enough to explore their talents.” he added.
