Tracy is back with new music as she joins forces with producer Sly Mndawe for her latest single, “Xesha.” The soulful, piano-forward release marks the first single from her upcoming Azalondwe EP, giving fans an early taste of what to expect from her next musical chapter.
With “Xesha,” Tracy delivers a song that invites listeners to connect with its message while enjoying the sounds that have helped establish her presence in the South African music scene. The collaboration with Sly brings together her vocal delivery and his production, creating a record aimed at listeners who appreciate the emotional side of Amapiano.
The title “Xesha,” which means “time,” adds another layer of meaning to the release. Time is something everyone experiences differently, whether through love, personal growth, challenges or moments of reflection. The song’s title encourages listeners to consider their own experiences and the different seasons they go through in life.
As the first single from Azalondwe, “Xesha” also introduces the direction Tracy is taking with the upcoming project. The EP is expected to showcase more of her artistry, with the new release serving as an introduction to the music she has been preparing for her audience.
Tracy has continued to build her musical identity through releases and collaborations that highlight her versatility. She is recognised for songs such as “Bo Gogo (Magical Remix),” “Injabulo” and “Galile,” while her 2026 project UHAMBO further contributed to her journey as an artist.
Her latest single arrives as she continues to develop her sound and connect with listeners through music that carries an emotional touch. By working with Sly Mndawe, Tracy adds another collaboration to her catalogue while giving fans a new song to enjoy ahead of the full Azalondwe experience.
The release also gives listeners an opportunity to become familiar with the sound and atmosphere surrounding her forthcoming EP. With promotional activity and previews building around the project during September and October 2026, anticipation continues to grow for what Tracy will deliver next.
For fans who have been following her journey, “Xesha” offers a fresh opportunity to reconnect with her music. Its soulful approach and piano-led production make it a notable addition to her growing catalogue.
