Breakout South African star Zee Nxumalo continues to expand her global reach, landing her first-ever Spotify playlist cover in Eastern Europe. The rising sensation is now featured front and center on Romania’s popular “Dance toată ziua” (Dance All Day) playlist, thanks to the buzz surrounding her latest single “In & Out”, a cross-cultural collaboration with Romanian pop star Raluka and producer millforlife.
The achievement marks a significant milestone for Zee as she makes her Eastern European debut. “In & Out” has already amassed over 14,800 saves, signaling strong momentum and enthusiasm from a new international audience. The track’s infectious blend of amapiano beats with pop melodies makes it a standout on the playlist, which curates some of the most energetic global dance anthems.
Madondo, founder of TGTM Agency and co-manager to Zee Nxumalo, praised the track’s reach and Zee’s instinctive musical vision:
“Zee’s instincts are unmatched. When we first heard the ‘In & Out’ track, we knew it had global potential. This Romania moment is just the beginning of a wave that’s been building for some time.”
This global push comes on the heels of several major career highlights for the Alexandra-born artist. Just recently, Zee hosted the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Pre-Show, becoming the first South African music artist to do so, following the viral success of her amapiano remix of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song.
In her own words, Zee reflected on the journey with gratitude and excitement:
“This run has been a dream. Being on a Spotify cover in Romania, hosting the KCAs, collaborating with Raluka—these are all moments I’ve prayed for. I’m just a girl from Alex making music that moves people, and now I get to take that energy around the world.”
Looking ahead, Zee is scheduled to perform at Afronation in Portugal and Ama Fest in the UK, further cementing her place as a rising global star. She’s also set to visit Romania for the first time, marking a full-circle moment in her international crossover.
Co-manager Shingai Darangwa added,
“We’ve been intentional about expanding Zee’s global footprint in a way that feels fresh but authentic.”
From Alexandra to Eastern Europe, Zee Nxumalo is proving she’s not just a rising star — she’s a global force in the making.
