Amapiano giants Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, collectively known as the Scorpion Kings, are gearing up for one of the biggest events in South African music history — Scorpion Kings Live (With Friends), set to take place at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on 29 August 2025. Just two weeks after the official announcement, 30% of the tickets have already been sold, signaling massive excitement and momentum behind the show.

The iconic duo announced their plans to “Fill Up” Loftus Stadium, and fans have responded with overwhelming support. Kabza De Small took to Instagram to share the milestone, writing:
“2 weeks since re launcha @Scorpionkingslive at Loftus Stadium and already over 30% of tickets are Sold Out, Dankie Bafethu, a re pushe and #BeApartOfHistory.”

The concert promises to be a monumental occasion — not just for the Scorpion Kings, but for the Amapiano movement as a whole. Known for their infectious beats, groundbreaking live performances, and undeniable chemistry, Kabza and Maphorisa have become household names in South Africa and beyond. This stadium show is being positioned as a celebration of their impact and dominance in the genre.

Scorpion Kings Live will also feature a star-studded lineup of friends and collaborators, with surprise guests expected to join the stage, making it an unforgettable night of music, dance, and unity. If previous performances by the duo are anything to go by, fans can expect high-energy sets, live instrumentation, and crowd-shaking moments that showcase why the Scorpion Kings are at the top of the game.

The rapid sale of tickets — with nearly one-third gone in just two weeks — is a strong indicator that this will be a sold-out event, possibly setting a new benchmark for Amapiano concerts in large venues. Loftus Versfeld, with its massive capacity, will be transformed into a dance music haven for one spectacular night.

Fans are urged to secure their tickets early to avoid missing out on what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest live music events of 2025. The countdown to August 29 has officially begun — and the Scorpion Kings are ready to make history.
