Amapiano heavyweight De Mthuda is back to shake the streets once again! The renowned producer and DJ has officially announced that his fifth studio album is set to drop this month, with a confirmed release date of April 30th.

Taking to his social media platforms, De Mthuda kept it short and powerful, writing:

“Album Dropping 30 April 🙏🏻.”

This will be his first album release of 2025, and fans are already fired up and counting down the days. Known for his soulful touch, smooth log drum drops, and ability to craft timeless amapiano classics, De Mthuda’s return promises nothing less than excellence.

With previous albums like Ace of Spades, The Landlord, and Story to Tell Vol. 1, De Mthuda has firmly established himself as one of the pillars of the amapiano genre, consistently pushing its boundaries while staying rooted in its authentic sound. His fifth project is expected to showcase both his growth as a producer and his ability to adapt to the ever-evolving soundscape.

While the tracklist and featured artists are still under wraps, fans can expect the usual star-studded collaborations and soulful piano grooves that have become his signature. De Mthuda has a reputation for working with some of the most respected and talented vocalists and producers in the game—including Sir Trill, Kabza De Small, Focalistic, and Njelic—so expectations are sky-high.

The upcoming project marks a major milestone in his career, not only being his fifth studio release but also reaffirming his consistent output and dedication to amapiano. His influence in shaping the sound and spreading it internationally cannot be denied, and this album will likely continue that legacy.

Social media has already lit up with anticipation, with fans and fellow artists sharing excitement for what’s to come. One fan commented, “When De Mthuda drops, it’s always a movie. We’re ready for another classic!”

Make sure to mark your calendars for April 30th, because De Mthuda is about to bless the streets with what could be one of the best albums of the year. Stay tuned for more details and get ready for a soulful, dancefloor-shaking experience from one of Amapiano’s finest.
