South African Amapiano sensation Young Stunna has issued an apology to his fans after missing several scheduled performances over the weekend due to an unexpected illness that affected his voice. The artist, whose real name is Sandile Fortune Msimango, released an official statement through Lawk Communications on March 2, 2025, expressing his regret over the situation.
In the statement, Young Stunna informed his supporters that he had temporarily lost his voice and was unable to perform at three scheduled events:
“I regret to inform you that due to an unexpected illness, I have temporarily lost my voice and will be unable to perform at the following events/venues, scheduled for March 2, 2025:
- BLK Lounge, Potchefstroom
- Kilowatts Lifestyle, Diepsloot
- Sundaze, Withok Estate, Brakpan
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to the event organizers, their sponsors, and my supporters. I truly appreciate your understanding during this challenging time,” he said.
The singer also assured fans that he is committed to rescheduling or working with promoters to find a suitable alternative once he has recovered.
“I can’t wait to see you all soon!” he added.
Young Stunna has emerged as one of the most influential voices in the Amapiano genre, known for chart-topping hits like Bopha and Adiwele.
