South African university students experienced an O-Week like never before as Amapiano sensation Robot Boii teamed up with AXE for the unforgettable #BangeneWithAxe campus tour. Spanning four major universities, this electrifying tour infused the spirit of new beginnings with dance-offs, live music, immersive activations, and massive giveaways, creating a legendary atmosphere that will be remembered long after the festivities ended.

The tour kicked off at the University of Pretoria on February 4, where students eagerly gathered to witness Robot Boii’s dynamic performance. With the crowd energized by his high-octane beats and captivating stage presence, the tour set the tone for what was to come. Just two days later, the excitement reached new heights at Wits University in Johannesburg, as an insane turnout of students vibed hard to the pulsating rhythms, proving that the allure of the #BangeneWithAxe tour was spreading like wildfire.

The momentum continued as the tour hit Stellenbosch University on February 11, where the venue transformed into a vibrant celebration of music and dance. The grand finale took place at UCT on February 13, culminating in a campus-wide celebration that captured the essence of O-Week. Students were treated to epic dance challenges led by Robot Boii himself, who kept the energy soaring with every performance.

Throughout the tour, immersive AXE activations invited students to step into their new chapter with confidence and style. As one of the highlights, attendees participated in challenges that not only entertained but also encouraged them to embrace the fresh start that O-Week symbolizes. Meanwhile, massive giveaways ensured that the excitement was shared, with students leaving the events with cool prizes and memories to cherish.

Ameena Mmatey, AXE Brand Representative, captured the spirit of the tour by stating, “O-Week is all about fresh starts, and AXE is here to make sure students step into this new phase of their lives feeling confident and fearless.” Robot Boii echoed this sentiment during his performances, exclaiming, “This wasn’t just another campus event—it was a whole vibe! We pulled up to make sure students started their year on the highest note possible. If you’re stepping into a new chapter, do it with confidence, do it with energy—Bangene as you are!”

The #BangeneWithAxe campus tour has left an indelible mark on South African universities, forging new friendships, sparking viral dance challenges. As the music fades, the memories of these epic nights continue to inspire students to embrace their new beginnings with passion and confidence.
