Robot Boii, a multi-talented artist celebrated for his work across music, comedy, and youth mentorship, recently commemorated a major career milestone at an exclusive gathering. On October 23, he hosted an intimate event at Opera Bar Lounge in Rosebank, Johannesburg, to honor his flourishing partnership with personal care brand AXE. The evening highlighted his achievements and ongoing influence, attracting friends, family, and industry insiders.

This celebration marks the latest achievement in Robot Boii’s dynamic year. From his feature in GQ Magazine’s October Mental Health Issue to impactful engagements at Comic Con Africa 2024 and DSTV Delicious Festival, he has consistently used his platform to connect with young people and promote messages of authenticity and self-confidence. His recent collaboration with AXE further extends his reach and reinforces his positive influence, particularly through a youth-focused school program he spearheaded alongside the brand.

A Partnership Rooted in Shared Values

Robot Boii’s collaboration with AXE has resonated with audiences nationwide, especially Gen Z, through its blend of style and empowerment. Ameena Mhatey, AXE’s Brand Representative, praised Robot Boii’s authenticity, stating, “He’s more than just a talent; he represents staying grounded while continually leveling up.” Together, they are delivering a refreshing message of personal care that aligns seamlessly with the young artist’s influence.

Through the school program, Robot Boii has engaged students across South Africa, encouraging them to embrace self-care, build confidence, and focus on their futures. Reflecting on his involvement, Robot Boii said, “I’m excited to be part of something bigger—teaching young students how to take care of themselves, stay fresh, and be confident in who they are.” His school visits include live performances and open conversations, making a lasting impact on students.

A Proud Moment: Gracing the Cover of GQ

Further cementing his impactful year, Robot Boii appeared on the cover of GQ magazine’s October Mental Health Issue, discussing his journey, the importance of mental health, and staying true to his roots. He shared, “I don’t think people fall in love with you because of what you do, but because of who you are. The whole brand of Robot Boii stems from that aspiration.”

An Evening of Reflection and Future Aspirations

During the celebration, Robot Boii reflected on the alignment of his values with his brand partnerships, adding, “There’s only one of you. The talent can be replaced, but you can’t be replaced as a person.” The event at Opera Bar Lounge was a heartfelt tribute to his journey, with Robot Boii and AXE committing to future collaborations that continue to inspire authenticity and self-confidence in the next generation.
