Tyla, the global star, has once again made headlines by leading the pack with seven nominations for the 30th annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs). The talented singer has emerged as the most nominated artist this year.
The nominations were officially announced this morning at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, with Metro FM’s Luthando “LootLove” Shosha hosting the prestigious event. The SAMAs, which recognize the best of South African music, are set to take place in November and promise to be a star-studded celebration of local talent.

These include Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and Best Pop Album, Music Video of the Year and Best Collaboration. She is up for Best Collaboration for the remix of her popular track Water featuring international superstar Travis Scotts.
