In a rare and candid interview on L-Tido’s podcast, popular musician Sir Trill opened up about the harsh realities and frustrations he has faced in the music industry. Despite his success and the popularity of his music, Sir Trill revealed that he has never seen any financial returns from his work, shedding light on the exploitation and deceit he has encountered.

Sir Trill recounted a particularly disheartening experience involving one of his songs featured on Netflix. He shared, “The song we did played on Netflix. I get a call from my manager, he’s like, ‘Did you hear your song? It was playing on Netflix.’ Then I call the dude and he just says, ‘I’m still busy.’”

The situation worsened when Sir Trill discovered that someone had taken complete control of his earnings. “I had to call the publisher to ask him what’s going on, and he said this guy took 100% of everything. So now this dude has to give me my coins. When you have to give me my coins, you start getting mad at me because I caught you when you were enjoying taking everything for yourself, and I picked it up. That’s when he starts going and saying don’t book him because I start asking for my money.”

These revelations highlight the darker side of the music industry, where artists often find themselves at the mercy of unscrupulous individuals who take advantage of their hard work and talent. Sir Trill’s experience is a stark reminder of the financial and emotional toll that such exploitation can take on artists.

Sir Trill’s decision to speak out is both brave and commendable. By sharing his story, he not only raises awareness about the challenges faced by many artists but also empowers others to stand up against unfair practices.

The podcast episode has sparked conversations among fans and industry insiders alike, with many expressing their support for Sir Trill and calling for better protections for artists. As Sir Trill continues to navigate his career, there is hope that his openness will lead to positive changes and that he will finally receive the financial recognition he deserves.

In the meantime, Sir Trill remains focused on his music, determined to overcome the obstacles he has faced. Fans are eagerly awaiting new releases, hopeful that he will continue to produce the hits that have made him a standout in the music scene.
