Media personality and amapiano artist Robot Boii has finally addressed the serious allegations against Mr JazziQ, revealing what transpired during the controversial YFM lift incident. The incident, involving YFM producer Nomcebo Mcombothi, has sparked widespread debate and backlash on social media.

The accusations against Mr JazziQ arose when Nomcebo Mcombothi claimed she was harassed by him in an elevator at YFM. Mr JazziQ quickly responded, denying the allegations and threatening legal action to clear his name. Despite his rebuttal, the incident continued to stir controversy, with many demanding more clarity on what actually happened in the lift.

Robot Boii, who was present during the incident, initially refrained from commenting. However, he has now broken his silence, providing his account of the events in a video shared by controversial blogger Musa Khawula on X (Twitter). According to Robot Boii, the altercation began when Mr JazziQ made a comment about Nomcebo Mcombothi’s dress, which she found offensive.

Robot Boii recounted that Mr JazziQ commented, “You look warm,” referring to Mcombothi’s dress. According to Robot Boii, the comment was intended as a harmless joke about her appearance. However, Mcombothi interpreted it as a derogatory remark about her weight and took offence. Robot Boii suggested that the situation escalated from there, leading to the allegations of harassment.

Despite Robot Boii’s attempt to clarify the situation, the response has not been well-received by the public. Many social media users expressed their dissatisfaction with his explanation, feeling that he was downplaying the incident and defending Mr JazziQ. Critics argue that Robot Boii’s narrative does not adequately address the seriousness of the allegations and fails to acknowledge the impact of Mr JazziQ’s comments on Mcombothi.

The incident at YFM and the subsequent reactions highlight the complexities and sensitivities involved in addressing allegations of harassment. While Robot Boii’s account provides some insight into what transpired in the lift, the public’s reaction underscores the need for a more thorough and empathetic approach to resolving such disputes.

As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen whether further details or actions will emerge.

Robot Boii details what happened between MrJazziQ and Ngcebo Mcobothi on the 23rd May 2024 at YFM offices and inside the lift.

Robot Boii is refuting any allegations made by Ngcebo Mcobothi as he gives his version of events.
