In response to overwhelming demand, Red Bull and Kabza De Small have announced the release of additional tickets for an extra performance at the upcoming Red Bull Symphonic event in Johannesburg. Fans of the Amapiano sensation expressed their eagerness for more opportunities to witness the groundbreaking fusion of Amapiano and classical music, leading to a rapid sell-out of the initial show. Tickets for the additional show, scheduled for June 8, 2024, at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City, will be available starting at 12:00 today.

The first batch of tickets for the event sold out within just five hours, signaling an unprecedented level of enthusiasm among fans. Kabza De Small, affectionately known as the King of Amapiano, is set to headline the event, performing alongside the talented conductor Ofentse Pitse and a full-scale symphonic orchestra. This collaboration marks a first-of-its-kind musical venture in South Africa, blending the contemporary beats of Amapiano with the grandeur of classical orchestration.

The concert promises to offer a unique experience as it explores the rich musical heritage of South Africa. Amapiano, a genre that originated in South African townships, will be presented in a new light, as its infectious rhythms and deep house influences are woven together with the powerful dynamics of a 33-piece orchestra and an 8-piece choir. The program includes fan favorites like “Khusela” and “Imithandazo,” promising an evening of majestic and transformative interpretations.

The Red Bull Symphonic event is more than just a concert; it is a celebration of African culture and musical innovation. By marrying the raw energy of Amapiano with the elegant complexity of classical music, the event aims to create a bridge between diverse musical traditions and audiences.

As anticipation builds, fans are advised to act quickly to secure their tickets for this additional night. This event is not only a testament to Kabza De Small’s immense popularity but also a pivotal moment in the evolution of South African music. The addition of another performance night is a response to the fans’ passionate appeals and a reflection of the strong partnership between Red Bull and the vibrant community of Amapiano lovers.
