After appearing on the show, the podcast reached its first million views within 48 hours. The Limpopo-born musician made his first hit song Kedi Hit Malume in 2021 and it too amassed over a million plays on several digital music platforms, Kaya FM reported.
South African musician Katlego Chauke Shebe, also known as Shebeshxt and DJ Maphorisa– real name Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe were spotted recording new music as seen in an X (the social media formally known as Twitter) post shared on Thursday, 7 December. The recording session has since gone viral on X with a number of social media users admitting that the video didn’t show Shebeshxt at his best.
Shebeshxt and DJ Maphorisa were recently spotted making music together in a video posted on X which has left social media users talking. Netiznes couldn’t help but point out that Shebeshxt seemed nervous to perform in front of a huge star such as the Abalele hitmaker. Nonetheless, other people were convinced that after a few takes, the song would eventually come together and be a smash hit.
