He was then introduced to The Creation Room, a production management company that assisted him in recreating and infusing his authentic amapiano sound with an African sound.

Bulo and Raspy have dropped their collaborative EP, ‘Love is Everything’.This soulful-driven project explores love’s various dimensions accompanied by Amapiano beats.Bulo and Raspy aim to communicate the multifaceted nature of love, creating an emotional landscape that resonates.

He is originally from Witbank, Mpumalanga, but grew up in Middelburg.“In 1996, my family moved to Soshanguve in Pretoria. A close friend of mine taught me how to compose music on an app called FL Studio in 2009. That’s when I learned the basics of music composition. By the time I went to university, I had already knew how to create music using the app,” he said.

In 2010, Bulo took a gap year.“My parents could not afford university fees when I finished matric. The following year, I was accepted to study civil engineering. So, in-between my studies, I was composing music. When I finished my degree, I had to stop making music and focus on finding a job to take care of my child,” he recalled.“I made a comeback in 2020 and that is also when I was introduced to The Creation Room – a production management company,” he said.
