Ntokzin Drops His Highly Anticipated 7-track EP ‘Makubenjalo’. Amapiano DJ/producer Ntokzin became a key player in the scene after his series of collaborations with fellow superproducer De Mthuda. Their 2020 album, Ace Of Spades, recorded during the first pandemic lockdown, is a contemporary take on kwaito with elements of jazz and Afrohouse, as showcased on the popular singles “uMsholozi” and “Dakwa Yini”.3 Ntokzin was born in the Johannesburg township of Tembisa and grew up in the neighbouring Vosloorus.
