Young Stunna Reminisces On The First Time He Fell In Love With Amapiano.Sandile Msimango, popularly known as Young Stunna, is a South African singer. He is best known for the hit singles “Bopha,” “Adiwele,” “SETE,” and more. He released his debut studio album “Notumato” in October 2021, and it topped the Apple Music albums chart in South Africa, becoming his first chart-topping project.
While he might be an amapiano sensation now, the artist’s first stint in the music industry was as a rapper on hip-hop beats, but after hearing Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa’s hit Nana Thula, Young Stunna knew where his voice was better suited.
“When I heard this song in 2019, I was going through it, honestly made me feel like crying all the time I played it. It made me fall in love with this sound until I started being part of it. That was the beginning of my healing journey and I’m so grateful. It really changed my life and I’m taking care of my family, that’s all that matters to me,” he wrote.
His stage name, “Young Stunna,” was given to him by his fans in Daveyton, where he grew up. Stunna was discovered by Kabza De Small, popularly called the King of Amapiano, and added to his Piano Hub roster. He gained fame after featuring on Felo Le Tee and Mellow & Sleazy’s hit song “Bopha,” which became a significant success.
