Lady Du Shows Off Her Wall Of Fame Of Her Music Achievements. Duduzile Ngwenya, the lady long famous by her adopted stage name DJ Lady Du, is a South African disc jockey and songwriter.Although she started her career at the age of 9, it wasn’t until several years later, in 2020, that she gained national attention. As she would confess later, she was ready to give up at the time, but fame found her.Today her fame has gone global, with her picture appearing on a billboard on Times Square in New York, United States.
Lady Du took to social media to show off her music plaques and revealed that she does not play music in her house and the only way people will see what she does for a living is through a wall of fame. “Since I don’t play music in my house the only way one will know what I do is by walking my wall of fame 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 I have more plaques to put up as I’m afraid of heights but, I have never posted my achievements in music. I have more than 7 platinum plaques.”
“Let me explain something that has been a misconception, I’ve recorded sooo many songs that I own but because I never had a distributor I trusted I decided to play chess, I’d drop songs with people but ask to own the master and have majority percentages that way i still made money but didn’t have to pay for it 🙏Because I’m an independent artist it’s way tougher to drop music on your own without any financial backing so I mastered the system and it built me an empire, the reason I posted @bulldog_gin is because this alcohol brand has been working with me for 3 years, they’ve helped my brand become what it is today!!!!”
She also shared some words of encouragement to upcoming artists and thanked those that helped her booming success. “To all the upcoming artists, work soooo hard, learn the game, @mrjazziq gave me a platform @djmaphorisa gave me a platform @djtira @kabelomotha_ @djsumbodysa taught me business 💔🙏 @casspernyovest launched me when I was starting in piano @oskidoibelieve always gives the best advise on how to invest, @djsbulive was my first mentor still is! @gugu.khathi was the first woman to believe in me lol paid for my first tv/video appearance @dbngogo I have a lot to say about her she looked after my mental health and well being. @djzand is my uncle lol diary @realdjbongz @djclock also my big brothers No one will ever make it by themselves, don’t push yourself too hard understand the game know what you are here for Fame is very hard, I’ll give you free advise, when people know about you and you know you have their attention, work sooo hard to build businesses outside of what you do to become one of the greatest artists!!!!”
” Your legacy is in your assets not liabilities 🙌🏼🙏 build for your kids and family not your friends and fans!!! Let your friends and fans learn from you and be inspired by you!!! Thank you to everyone that has and still mentors me in everything I do. My life coach and biggest inspiration is a woman I look up to @mbofho_mbodi I love her to the moon and back 🙌🏼”
