GMasterMusiq Reveals What He Would Like To See Change In The Music Industry. GMasterMusiq (bren Madiya) is an artist from South Africa.His love for music began at a young age. He draws inspiration from his mother, who was part of a local choir.His unique sounds vary with various tracks, but can be classified as Afropop, mbaqanga, and Afrohouse music. He has not yet found a genre, but enjoys exploring. His hit single ‘Pikoko’ was released in 2020 and his other hits include ‘Makhelwane’ and ‘Magogwana

Speaking on what inspired him to be more consistent in the music industry, he said: “I was inspired by how the music game changes every now and then, I am always willing to try new sounds and explore myself.”

There are things that he would like to see change within the music industry, and one of them is -“Fights between artists should come to an end! We should be collaborating with each other, growing the South African scene.”

Madiya stage name GMasterMusiq is a 26 year old young Zulu man, with a great interest in music and the performing arts. His love for music began at a young age as he was inspired by his mother, who was part of the local choir. GMasterMusiq is “trying out new sounds, exploring afro pop by fusing it with the latest amapiano sound,” he told Featured Online.
