Watch! Uncle Waffles Reacts To Losing A BET Award To Burna Boy! The BET Awards 2023 happened last night in Los Angeles, California, USA where two of the leading ladies in Amapiano were nominated in different categories.
Uncle Waffles, whilst representing Swaziland was nominated in the Best International Act category for her debut nod. The Tanzania hit maker was nominated alongside SA rapper, K.O, Burna Boy, Tems, Ayra Starr and Libiancaa. Nigeria’s Burna Boy walked away with the award making it his fourth time winning a BET Award.
Taking to Instagram after the awards, Uncle Waffles reacted to losing out the award Burna Boy saying, “I just want to say thank you all so much for all the support and the love. And congratulations to Burna Boy, he won the category, thank you so much, I love you guys.”
