Pabi Cooper Reacts To Not Winning The BET Viewers Choice: Best New International Act Award. The BET Awards were just held in LA and our very own own Pabi Cooper was representing not only South Africa but Amapiano too with her first ever nomination from the BET Awards.
The Sphitiphiti singer was nominated in the Viewers Choice: Best New International Act category alongside Libianca, Asake, Camidoh, FLO, Maureen, MC Ryan SP and RAYE. Libianca walked away as the winner in the category. Pabi took to social media to react to not winning the award saying, “Aww my babies we didn’t win but God’s got us, always. Thank you for your continued support. I see yalll. Love yalll…even though we did not get it it was manifested. God is massive.”
The singer had written down in her notes back in March how she was going to get a BET Award. On the red carpet, Pabi did not disappoint with her debut BET Awards red carpet look. She wore a gorgeous gown by a local designer and some red bottoms.
