Pabi Cooper Reacts To Her First BET Award Nomination. The BET Awards 2023 nominations are out and two Amapiano artists are nominated in two different international categories and they are both women.
Uncle Waffles scored a nomination in the Best International Act category alongside Burna Boy, K.O, Tems and a few more. Pabi Cooper represented South Ah as she scored a nomination in the Viewers Choice: Best New International Act category alongside other big names on the continent. Pabi took to social media sharing her excitement.
“Proud to announce that I’m nominated for the BET Awards,” Pabi shared on social media adding to her instastories how the nomination made her emotional. “Let me go cryyyyyy,” she captioned a video by MTV UK with all the nominees in her category. The Banyana Ke Bafana hit maker also shared her excitement about attending the awards saying, “need a hot dress for the awards.”
