Kabza de Small Speaks On What Working For Municipality Was Like Before Becoming A DJ. He has become a global superstar as one of the leading Amapiano artists. These days you can spot Kabza de Small headlining festivals and the hottest clubs, rocking expensive designer wear and in luxury cars but the DJ comes from humble beginnings.
In a resurfaced clip from an interview Kabza de Small and his peer, DJ Maphorisa did back in 2022, he opened up about some of the jobs he did before he made it big as a DJ. Kabza revealed that he used to work for the municipality in his late teens.
“I used to cut grass for a living. I used to work for municipality. I’m serious,” he said to Maphorisa who had broken into laughter adding he used to wear overalls. “It was tough. I used to be an employee. I used to do plumbing, I used to fix sewage drains. I was around 17 or 18,” he shared.
Kabza recently made headlines after buying himself a vintage Toyota Cressida. Talk about a life turnaround and dreams becoming a reality.
