DJ Sumbody’s Mother And His Business Partner Fighting Over Ayepyep Nightclub. It’s been just over six months after Amapiano pioneer, DJ Sumbody tragically died after being gunned down whilst coming from a gig. The entrepreneurial DJ co-owned popular Pretoria nightclub Ayepyep with business partner, Kagiso Setsetse.

According to reports, Setsetse and DJ Sumbody’s mother are embroiled in a fight over the management of the nightclub. Sunday World reported that the mother was forcefully removed from the nightclub by police who were called by the business partner. This reportedly happened after DJ Sumbody’s mom allegedly instructed employees at the nightclub to hand over equipment, including speed point bank card terminals.

Setsetse reportedly asked DJ Sumbody’s mother to offer proof and the late DJ’s death certificate that shows she had been appointed as the executrix of her late son’s estate. In a letter seen by Sunday World, Setsetse states that only himself and DJ Sumbody were the shareholders and directors of the company and that following DJ Sumbody’s passing, he’d be the only director and authorized representative of the company.

“The remaining shareholder shall be entitled, within a period of 15 business days, following the presentation in writing of the independent auditor’s valuation, of the deceased shareholders shares. Whenever the fair value of a share is required to be determined, the shareholders shall attempt to agree to such value in writing,” part of the letter stated.
