Amapiano Rapper ‘Shebeshxt’ Reportedly Sentenced To 7 Years In Jail. Shebeshxt is a renowned South African amapiano singer, song writer and music producer who rose to limelight this year, 2022. His popularity came from TikTok, where his songs has been mostly shared and, of course, people loves his music.
Katlego Chauke famously known as ‘Shebeshxt’ in the music world was sentenced to seven years in prison on 8 May for attempted murder. According to Youth of Tsomo Shebeshxt was supposed to be performing in Pretoria during the long weekend at multiple clubs. But event organisers had to issue an apology to their patrons after they found out that the Amapiano star had been arrested.
According to the statement released on Shebeshxt’s instagram page by his management he was caught for attempted murder. The 23-year-old Limpopo-born star was sentenced by the Lebowagomo Magistrates Court. “Shebeshxt played an enormous role in Limpopo music genre and had many fans across the nation. He was generally known for his hit called sh*t malume and Cinderella amongst others. It is with great sadness that we won’t have more upcoming hits like these for a while.”
