At only 23-years-old, South Africa’s Amapiano princess, Lungelihle Zwane, known professionally as Uncle Waffles, is taking the international entertainment scene by storm.The Swazi-born DJ made history this past weekend when she became the first Amapiano DJ to perform on one of the main stages at the popular Coachella music festival in the United States.

The Coachella audience received her with open arms at the Sonora stage, right before headliner Bad Bunny hit the main stage to close off the night. On Saturday she was the surprise act on the Do-Labs stage and the crowd loved her high-energy performance securing her a spot in the history books.Waffles closed off the weekend with her killer set at the Coachella afterparty at Zenyara.
