Felo Le Tee Explains How Studying Sound Tech Helped Him Know When It’s Time To Change His Sound.Tsholofelo known as Felo Le Tee is the musical genius of the land echoes out hard work, originality and cultural music authenticity to the world were he preaches the house music bible. Born and raised in Siyabuswa, Mpumalanga, South Africa, Felo Le Tee embarked on his musical career at the age of 14 starting out with a collection of cassettes playing on both side with the other on on cue.
“I believe the sound always has to evolve, as a musician I believe that we create something that’s always better,” he said. “Studying sound tech helped me understand and be able to identify when music and sound has to change. So I listen to criticism, I listen to what people have to say about the current sound of amapiano genre because at the end of the day we have to remember that we create music for people, so I always look at the reception and work around that. I revolve according to how people feel about music,” he added.
Felo Le Tee taught him self most of the things that related to music production and disc jockey to a point that he got discovered by a lot of people and became the peoples favourite. He wanted to elevate his career so he made it open himself to further his studies and move to city of love, Tshwane, Pretoria, South Africa were he studied and completed her studies on Sound Technology in Damelin. It was more about the music than the technical side for him so after he completed his studies he continued his music production and released a young demo entitled “Home Land” which got the attention from artist he admired to work with.
A song titled “Excitement” from the demo album “Home Land” grabbed DJ Tira’s attention and he requested it to be released under DJ Cndo’s prestigious album titled “Finest Lady Volume 5” under vigorous record label Afrotainment. He than released most of his work on Traxsource from the demo album and other separate songs. He has worked with the infamous Oscar P on a few projects and the US based Nylon Trax family, James Nylon.
