5 Facts About Amapiano Vocalist Snenaah. The music industry has changed dramatically over the last decade, following the popularity of amapiano. Record sales have plummeted and the way people listen to music has shifted. Artists rely heavily on streaming services and social media to promote their music. Some have found success in this new landscape, while some are still figuring it out.

Sinethemba Mashiane is a composer, singer and songwriter born in Mpumalanga, raised on indigenous music in a small rural township called Silobela.

Now based in Centurion and adopting the moniker Snenaah, she’s stepped up to meet amapiano with a host of audible life experiences.

Snenaah has been sharing a slew of breathtaking acapellas and cover versions on social media, breathing new life into familiar favourites with her smoky tones and layered melodies.

Traveling to Tanzania and Bulgaria before being locked down in 2020 gave her a new perspective, along with the chance to broaden her worldview in order to hone her vocal skill which she shows us on “Paradise” featuring Sinny Man’Que, and Mas Musiq’s “Gqwinya Lam” featuring Sino Msolo.

She doesn’t have a huge followingon Instagram but she is followed by big amapiano names such as Vigro Deep, Tyler ICU and others.
