Costa Titch’s Memorial Service Reportedly Postponed. Born in 1995, Costa Tsobanoglou, popularly known by his stage name Costa Titch is a super-talented rapper and songwriter in South Africa. He is known for his hit songs like Nkalakatha and Activate. The rapper, who was a dancer before, has created a style for himself that everybody can reckon with and has been dropping songs consistently since his debut. His songs are well publicized and have gotten him various recognition.
It has been reported that the late Costa Titch’s memorial service had to be postponed. At 28 years old, Costa Titch died after collapsing on stage during a performance at the Nasrec Expo Center for the music concert – Ultra, last Saturday. Costa Titch got his breakthrough after the release of his hit song “Activate,” which became popular after the time of its debut. Although he got into the entertainment scene very early, he started as a dancer in the New Age Steez dance crew, which had Phantom Steeze and Tumi Tladi as members.
It was also reported that the memorial service was expected to take place this week on Thursday. The Nelspruit native is expected to have a send off in Mpumalanga. Timeslive reported that the musician’s team postponed the memorial service because it would have been too short notice for his fans, the ‘Titch gang.
His team told the Times Live: “As we know, Costa was about inclusivity and unity, he would have loved to have everyone who he loved and who supported him to be there”. They thanked the public for their continued support for his family, friends and colleagues.
