A clip of Cassper Nyovest dancing in studio is doing rounds on social media. Peeps took to the timeline to judge the rapper’s seemingly unreleased song. In the video, Cassper Nyovest is jamming to the track while his verse plays in the background. Taking to Twitter, a tweep with the handle @SAHIPHOPFEEDs shared the video captioned “Cassper Nyovest previews new Amapiano single.”
Cassper Nyovest has expressed his hopes to remain relevant in the entertainment industry. The rapper took to his timeline saying while he understands he would not always be regarded as the “coolest”, he still wants to have influence and continue making money. “I don’t ever want to fall off. I understand not being the coolest or the hottest, that’s inevitable, but falling off as far as influence, reach, money and people not taking your calls cause you’re a burden. May I never see that day oh Lord,” he wrote.
Cassper rose to fame with the release of his debut studio album Tsholofelo and has been breaking boundaries and making history ever since. While he’s produced many hit songs in his career, he’s expanded his brand and explored business endeavours.
In 2021, the Siyathandana hitmaker launched a liquor brand, Billiato, and a sneaker line with Drip Footwear called The Root of Fame.
The rapper ventured into the television industry, presenting the second season of The Braai Show on SABC1.
Having hosted five successful #FillUp concerts, Cassper hosted another dubbed #FillUpMmabathoStadium in his hometown in 2022.
Cassper recently took to his timeline saying he did not feel the need to prove himself anymore. “Nah, I’ve done my thing. If there’s guys who still don’t rate me, it’s on them. No more points to prove, raps, music, hits, money, business, whatever man. I’m that dude FR overall. Those who don’t see it yet will never ever see it and that’s OK. Next chapter,” he wrote.
