JazziQ Lashes Out On The Government For Not Supporting Amapiano Artists. Tumelo Manyoni known professionally as Mr JazziQ, is a South African Amapiano DJ and record producer. He is best known for being a former member of the amapiano DJ duo, JazziDisciples.

JazziQ has taken to social media to lash out at the government for its lack of support towards amapiano artists. The star said they are not safe and they so much for the attraction of the country, growing amapiano to global heights. He also added how amapiano fed a lot of families even during lockdown yet there’s still no acknowledgement to them. “We are not safe and we do so much for the attraction of the country and we still don’t get even a small appreciation from our own Government. Amapiano has help and motivated so many lives during lockdown. As a collective we make the country stand out.”

He further shared that they deserve the same support as Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana. “We deserve the same support @BafanaBafana , @Banyana_Banyana etc. when we are out doing what we do we are a reflection of South Africa as a country. We mad everyone happy in the hardest times we faced but we still came out on top! Be it we win or loss which is unlikely.”

He has pursued a solo career after parting ways with former JazziDisciples member Josiah De Disciple in 2020.“It’s been quite an educational journey. God has been kind to me as I’ve been growing steadily in my career.”

Speaking about how the surge in the amapiano genre changed his life, the musician said he was grateful to see how many other artists were also benefiting from it“Nobody can really explain how it has broken ground so much because everything is happening in real tim. The impact is positive as our lives are changing,”
