Anatii Opens Up About Jumping Into Amapiano With His Forthcoming Album. Anathi Bhongo Mnyango, known professionally as Anatii, is a South African rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer & music video director.

Anati intends to collaborate on with other artists on his new album. “It is going to be very exciting for people to hear all these different genres, from amapiano to R&B and Afro pop. I think it is an exciting time for African music to hit the global scene.”

He’s got big plans for the new year ahead. “I am working on an album, and we are also working on a clothing line called Don’t Forget To Pray, we will be releasing our first collection. And the album is not what anyone expects, and I feel like every body of work that I do is different that way because it’s never the same as the other. So with this next body of work we delve deeper into the journey that we have been on and more than anything else, just show people what I have been going through the past few years. My journey with sounds and how I have been exploring out and experimenting, you know, just pushing the sound of it and breaking boundaries to take creativity to the next level are definitely features on this album.”

During his breaks, he still touches base with his industry colleagues, Anatii adds. “when I was gone for a while, Ricky Rick would reach out to me and check on me, quite a few people do connect with me about my break and how I am doing. And I love cycling, hiking and working out and I tend to meet a lot of different people along the journey.”
