Kabza De Small Responds To Dr Malinga’s Interview.The past few months have been a devastating experience for renowned musician Goodwill Malinga, affectionately known as Dr Malinga, whose life took an unexpected turn after his belongings were reportedly repossessed and auctioned by the SA Revenue Services (Sars).The popular music artist was a guest on the popular and controversial Podcast and Chill with MacG where he shared touching details about losing it all.
Dr Malinga broke down while explaining how his assets were repossessed, revealing he was fine when the popular gossip blogger Musa Khawula broke the news on social media because he thought he could pay what was due to Sars. During the interview, Malinga also spoke about how he wanted to work with Kabza De Small but DJ Maphorisa initially blocked the collaboration from happening when he called Malinga and told him: “Stop calling Kabza, do you understand.”During their studio session, De Small and Malinga worked on songs together. While Kabza shared a song they did together, he also reacted to the interview on Instagram Live. “You must ask first and not be too forward. Where was I during Malinga’s times? He inspired me, so I was working hard. I tried my best to make beats for this guy, but now he blames me? Don’t talk sh*t,” said the angry Kabza. Watch below:
This episode was the subject of talks across social media platforms as many people started showing care and support for the musician. And as a result, some of his fans and renowned artists such as Makhadzi publicly reached out to Dr Malinga, who seemingly needed all the support he could get.
