Pic! DJ Melzi Meets American Rapper Rick Ross. DJ Melzi (born 19 November 2001), with the real name Tumelo Mphai, is a South African Disk Jockey and Producer. The multi-talented young artist is good at juggling education and his career. He has contributed largely to the music industry through the hit songs he has dropped so far.

Amapiano star DJ Melzi has expressed excitement as he meets Rick Ross while on a music tour in London. Taking to Instagram, he shared cozy snaps of himself with the American rapper and a video of the rap star at a private event. Melzi described Rick as a humble person and sent him some prayers.

“Blessed to meet Rick Ross @richforever. The Biggest Boss, in London at @officialbelaire ‘s private event. A very humble and down-to-earth soul. God Bless You with many more !!” Check out the image below:

His passion for music was discovered at a young age, thanks to his music enthusiast parents. “My love for music is so ingrained in the person I am, that I sometimes joke and say that music raised me. I grew up in a household where everyone had a deep love for music, and that moulded my journey into music,” he said.

“I started mixing at the age of 6, and experimenting with different musical instruments and creating my mixes at the age of 10 – some of those mixes I’ve managed to keep until today. I remember when I was 12, instead of PlayStations, my parents got me these amazing Numark devices, which were the old versions of the CD Jays, which was one of the best gifts I’ve ever received, and that I still have today,” he added.
