However, it seems Maphorisa is not happy with the verdict of the awards, and he feels a lot of artists including himself and Young Stunna were snubbed. Taking to social media, Maphorisa shared that the SAMAs did to Young Stunna what they did to Mlindo The Vocalist, and he felt it was becoming personal. “The Samas need to respect us first it was Mlindo the vocalist now ke Young Stunna It’s becoming personal,” he wrote. Despite being the most nominated artist for #SAMA28, Maphorisa lost on many of those categories. He only received one award for the most streamed song of the year. Taking to Twitter, the talented DJ shared a fiery post after losing major categories such as Record of the Year and Music Video of the Year. He slammed #SAMA28 by saying: “U cnt cheat the numbers n screw the samas forever doesn’t even bring food on the table.”
