Taking to Instagram in celebration of her achievement, Du said she has had it tough with management, the challenges she faces touring international,balancing work and being a parent as well as working on her album. The star revently landed in South Africafrom touring the UK. She was filled with gratitude and couldn’t stop thanking the universe for working in her favor. She went to the UK for a performance and it’s paid off in more ways than one. Lady Du says the trip changed her life. It is in contrast to what she went through earlier this year, when she told her followers she cursed the day she signed with her previous management.
“I have worked days and nights trying to build myself, I have never been helped financially, I do not have industry connections, I have genuinely built a career for myself that is run by people. You guys made me who I am today. It is sad that at times we have to smile but we are actually broken beings. We have to give hugs to people when we actually need them ourselves. I’d like to thank you guys for personally for being my strength, I’d like to tell you how important you all are to me. It is because of you that I could still continue and not give on myself,” she said earlier this year.
