Hailing from Alexandra, South Africa, Kabza’s bright and melodic productions have taken him across the globe and garnered him the nickname ‘Amapiano King’, also commonly known under his Scorpion Kings alias alongside fellow trailblazer DJ Maphorisa.

Starting out his career in deep, soulful house music, Kabza later helped to bring forward the recently lauded genre when he broke through in 2018 after a decade in the game.Together with DJ Maphorisa, Kabza has released three studio albums, most recently 2020’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Lockdown’. Following on from his constant stream of releases, Kabza came out with an 18-track collaborative record ‘KOA II Part 1’ just last week featuring a number of heavy hitters on the amapiano scene.
