Cassper Gives Himself A Pat On The Back For Being A Versatile Artist. Refiloe Maele Phoolo, professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer and part-time boxer. Born and raised in Mahikeng, North West, he is regarded as one of the most successful artists in South Africa
Cassper has given himself a pat on the back for his versatility in music. The star was known as a hard-core hip-hop rapper before switching things up with an amapiano album. He has now made a return in the hip-hop space, as he believes he started a trend of diss tracks, which had now seen masses jump onto it as well. He said he will be performing in London in a week headlining for amapiano, and a fee weeks later he will also be a hot topic in the hip hop space. “This time next week ima be in London preparing to Headline AmaFest which is an amapiano festival. The same time next week ima be a big topic in South Africa regarding Hip Hop. Talk about versatility! King shit! #PutYourHandsUp,” e wrote.
Cassper Nyovest also wants people to fall in line and clap for him for starting the current rise and popularity of freestyle in the rap game. Taking to his Twitter timeline on Tuesday he told a follower he better fall in line because he was telling him to not say on rapper Duncan’s artwork. “I started this whole sh*t. I am in charge! OK! Fall in line,” he tweeted.
On his Twitter timeline last week the rapper encouraged other hip-hop artists to make “real” hip-hop. “We can’t be all making the same music y’all. Open up the market, create new styles and avenues. We also can’t all be making music for 14-year-olds. We need that real! Hip Hop! Where y’all at???” he wrote.
